I’m very proud of Katy Perry. Originally when I heard “I Kissed a Girl” way back when, I thought we wouldn’t hear from her again after that, but she’s really become an icon for our generation. Today’s song of the day comes from her 2010 album, Teenage Dream.
The song discusses the theme of being in a new relationship where they make your heart beat, therefore giving you a “Hummingbird Heartbeat”. It has yet to be released as a single.
